Elle est aussi désinfectante, mucolytique (fluidifie le mucus), parasiticide, revitalisante, vulnéraire et expectorante.
L’HE de myrrhe est efficace dans le traitement des affections respiratoires (grippe, angine, tuberculose, toux , bronchite, rhinite, sinusite…). Elle apaise les ulcères buccaux, les muguets, les gingivites et les stomatites.
Elle est aussi bénéfique en cas de diarrhées, dysenterie (maladies infectieuses du côlon), hépatite virale, maladies de la peau, inflammation urinaire. Aussi elle est fréquemment utilisée lors de raideurs articulaires et d’arthroses.
